What to Expect
First Appointment
Your first appointment will focus on getting to know you and gaining an understanding of why you have decided to attend.
You will generally be asked questions about your life, current circumstances, and history. We understand that this can be daunting, but our clinicians are here to guide you and help you feel comfortable.

At the end of this session, we hope to establish some goals for intervention, as well as a plan of how to achieve these goals.
Treatment Duration
Length of treatment depends on your needs and goals for intervention. At the end of each session, your goals and plans will be reviewed to ensure you and your psychologist are continuing to work collaboratively, toward a shared outcome.

Sessions will generally last for 50 minutes, and will be scheduled on a weekly or fortnightly basis, depending on your needs.
Special Needs
Keeping in Mind Psychology strives to be inclusive of all individuals. If you have special needs or requirements, please contact us to discuss these further.
